The banshee's wails are getting louder and louder and she's getting just a leetle bit famous, believe you me. Even her interviewers say she's so known as a poet though they never give her a job. Oh dear me. So some student of St Stephens college picked up the banshee's book A Witch Like You at some second-hand book sale/market, he said, and that's how it came about that students of the Gandhi-Ambedkar society wanted to take an interview of the wailing banshee for their magazine on Dissent Protest Agitation in Education. There are some biggies in here like Nandita Narain and N. Sachin, who was my colleague once upon a long lost time when I was quite new to teaching. There are many more too, you can take a look. Putting mine at the very end gives them some pleasure for some reason so they have done that. You can read them here.
as for the unknown people who get to know about the banshee, an insta page called artists address on the occasion of world artists day had shared the banshee's poem 'Elegy for a Broken Vase' written long ago when the banshee was just 22-23, for a clay vase handmade by a friend in undergrad days. The banshee has no idea at all who are these artist address people and how they ever got to hear the moaning whining wailing banshee...but, may their tribe increase!
